From Frontend to Fullstack - Cloudify your Frontend with AWS Serverless Services

Abstract

Are you a frontend focused Developer interested in expanding your skill set with cloud services? Not sure where to start? We feel you! Join us and get your hands dirty in a hands-on workshop where we’ll guide you through the process of building a cloud-backed website using state-of-the art serverless services from AWS.

By the end of the session you’ll have deployed your first AWS Lambda function, implemented a RESTful HTTP API with Amazon API Gateway, persisted your data in a NoSQL database with Amazon DynamoDB, and hosted your Frontend via AWS S3 and CloudFront. Along the way, you’ll get practical experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) and learn more about cloud development best practices.

All you need is a computer and a web browser.
